Fujitsu remains deeply committed to Green IT in all of our products and processes. As further proof of our innovative and broad thinking on this topic, we have launched our own Green IT label, which will now appear on all of our qualifying products.
GUIDANCE THROUGH THE GREEN JUNGLE
This label gives a clear indication of a product’s green credentials, helping our customers make an informed and clear decision when purchasing and acting as immediate and visible proof of the fact that our products are designed with our far-reaching corporate goals on energy efficiency and sustainability.
ONE, TWO, THREE STARS...
The label uses a simple three-tier system to show how green each product is – ranging from one star through to the highest three-star accolade. To achieve a green label, products must fulfil a number of crucial criteria related to production methods, materials, recycling and energy efficiency. The highest, three-star ranking is awarded only to products which fulfil extremely stringent requirements - far above and beyond what is required by law or by other current industry labels.
ROLLING OUT THE RANKING
This label will be applied initially only to all our business and consumer PCs and notebooks. The criteria is currently being finalised for our servers and storage products. A detailed list of products and their rankings can be viewed here.
