| The model M3000 is a new 1-socket entry-level to the SPARC64 VII based family. The M3000 server uses the SPARC64 VII quad-core processor with 2.52 GHz and large 5 MB L2 cache. Each of the cores can issue two threads simultaneously. |  |
| The M3000 model also offers – in a space saving compact 2 RU form factor - up to 32 GB memory (8 DIMM slots), 4 hot-plug disk bays and 4 free PCIe slots in addition to the four onboard 1 GbE network interfaces. RAS features include redundant power supplies and fans, core off lining, extended ECC protection, dynamic cache degradation and the eXtended System Control Facility (XSCF) tool that enables remote and overall hardware monitoring. |
