Fujitsu Siemens Computers Appoints New Members to the
Executive Council
Munich/Germany, July 01, 2004 —Fujitsu Siemens Computers, the leading European IT company
announces new members to the Executive Council. Effective today,
the former Sales, Marketing and Customer Services organization is
now comprised of three functional units: Sales which will be
jointly managed from two regions, Corporate Marketing and Customer
Services, each reporting directly to Bernd Bischoff. The aim behind
this decision is to maximize the focus on serving the customer.
To jointly manage the Sales organization, the company
announces that Mr. Dave Cullinane has been appointed Executive Vice
President Western Europe, Middle East and Africa and a member of
the Executive Council. Mr. Cullinane joined Fujitsu Siemens
Computers in January 2001, bringing with him a strong track record
in sales and marketing. As Director of Alliance Services for
Accenture, he focused on the enterprise sector. Mr. Cullinane also
worked for HP as Director of Partner Business, where he headed a
team that tripled indirect sales from around $400 million to $1.2
billion over a five year period. Mr. Cullinane is based in
Bracknell.
The company also announces the appointment of Ulrich Kemp as
Executive Vice President Central Europe and as a member of the
Executive Council, to co-manage the Sales organization. Mr. Kemp
has been with Fujitsu Siemens Computers as General Manager Germany
and Senior Vice President since February 2001. Previously, Mr. Kemp
held various executive posts at HP before joining Fujitsu Siemens
Computers, most recently as European Manager of the Internet
Start-up business unit. In this capacity he was a member of the
European Management Board BCSO. Mr. Kemp is based in
Düsseldorf and Bad Homburg.
Corporate Marketing will be headed by Vice President and
Executive Council Member Barbara Schaedler. Mrs. Schaedler joined
Fujitsu Siemens Computers in 2000 from RWE Energy where she headed
Corporate Communications. Mrs. Schaedler was also the spokesperson
for the German Federal Ministry of Finance from 1994 to 1998.
Customer Services will be headed by Vice President Wolfgang
Thielemann. Mr. Thielemann has also been appointed to the Executive
Council. Mr. Thielemann has over 20 years experience in the IT
industry. He joined Fujitsu Siemens Computers in 2002 from SINITEC
Munich, where he was the CEO. He also held high-level management
positions Zettler Communications and Security as well as Digital
Equipment Corporation.
Bernd Bischoff was appointed President and CEO of Fujitsu
Siemens Computers, effective as of July 1, 2004. He replaced Adrian
v. Hammerstein, who has moved to Siemens Business Services.
