Munich/Germany, October 06, 2004 —Fujitsu Siemens Computers today announced the availability of
its new-look SCALEO T, SCALEO P, and SCALEO C home PCs. Now,
families can have the functionality of a PC in the chic design of a
futuristic appliance for the digital home. With PCs increasingly
being used as home entertainment systems as well as home office
support tools the SCALEO line now includes a range of features,
such as easy access points to connect your PC to other
entertainment systems and offering home workers the reassurance of
the most reliable support services.
The new SCALEO home PCs can contain a range of features
including front access ports for USB (Universal Serial Bus),
Firewire™, as well as optional TV and video connections,
making it simple for the family to integrate their entertainment
systems in the house. They also offer users the latest processor
technology ranging from Intel® Pentium® 4 HT (Hyper
Threading Technology) to Intel Celeron Processor and AMD Athlon 64
(Cool’n’Quiet™ Technology) and AMD Sempron. The
PCs also come with different connectivity options, including modem
(56 kBit), LAN (10/100 MBit) and WLAN (54 MBit), providing home
workers with the ability to work anywhere in the house.

The SCALEO T provides users with a range of possible features
to choose from including up to 4 external hard disk drives (2x
5.25” and 2x 3.5”) and 2 internal hard disk drives
(3.5”). With up to 4 GB of memory it builds a lot of power
into the product enabling it to meet the demands of more powerful
multimedia work and entertainment applications. Furthermore, as
part of Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ commitment to the
environment, the SCALEO T is made with fully recyclable materials
to meet the highest environmental standards.
The SCALEO P meets the needs of home office workers and
families that do not require the most powerful PC. As the systems
are manufactured in Europe, it is easy for Fujitsu Siemens
