New SCENICVIEW Displays by
Fujitsu Siemens Computers
Extended ergonomic features support a healthy office
environment
Munich/Germany, March 04, 2005 —Fujitsu Siemens Computers will present three new LCD-monitor
product lines developed to meet the different needs of professional
us-ers. Two of them, the Premium and Business Lines, are designed
exclusively by Fujitsu Sie-mens Computers. Besides their award
winning innovative design they have the clearly struc-tured
ease-of-use OSD menu ensuring an unique and consistent family look
& feel. Depending on the product line, the displays are offered
in the screen sizes of 15, 17, 19 and 20 inch.
Ergonomics
Based on ergonomic studies a flat screen monitor must be
optimally adjusted to the user. In or-der to ensure a proper and
relaxed posture, the new exclusively designed SCENICVIEW dis-plays
minimize - depending on the model - the distance from the bottom
line of the screen to the desk down to 60 mm, which complies with
the newest ergonomic recommendations. Further more the extended
tilt angle prevents neck tension and supports users of variable
focal glasses.
Functionality and design
The SCENICVIEW Premium Line (P17-2, P19-2 and P20-2)
satisfies highest demands. The Premium Line’s S-PVA with
8-bit colour depth and ADCC technology guarantees bright colours,
optimised grey scaling and fast grey-to-grey response times. The
SCENICVIEW Premium Line offers the perfect conditions for working
with professional graphics as well as Multimedia- and
CAD-applications. In addition, the viewing angle of 178/178 degrees
ensures impressive picture experience. Further more, the user has
the option to turn the monitor 90 degrees into the por-trait
format, which optimizes the useability for type writing programs
and web applications. The Premium Line is available in screen sizes
of 17, 19 and 20 inches. As an option the P19-2 is also available
with an elegant black frame. The iF design award 2005 proves that
the Premium Line impresses not only because of its technical
features but also because of its design. In addi-tion, the
SCENICVIEW IT Suite contains (from May onwards ) a comprehensive
manageability software package, which includes the programs Display
View, PivotPro® as well as Liquid-View®. Equipped with a
DDC CI-interface, not only the inventory data can be readout, but
it makes the Premium Line displays ready for manageability tasks
like remote administration.
With the SCENICVIEW Business Line (B17-2 and B19-2), Fujitsu
Siemens Computers intro-duces the double hinge height adjustment
concept into its exclusive design. The models are available in 17
and 19 inches. The adjustable double hinge concept with extended
tilt functional-ity allows an ergonomical adjustment of the display
depending on the user and enables an height adjustment range of
75mm. The Business Line also introduces the rear cover and a ca-ble
guide as solutions for a tidy desk.
The SCENICVIEW Value Line (A15-1 and A17-1) is especially
recommended as entry level TFT-displays to replace classic
CRT-monitors. The user will enjoy the overall benefits of TFT vs.
CRT due to their lower power consumption, extended lifetime and
less desk space require-ments. The Value Line models are available
in 15 and 17 inches.
