The Dynamic Data Center
At CeBIT 2005, Fujitsu Siemens Computers will demonstrate key
solutions and showcase cornerstone building blocks for the Dynamic
Data Center. In the data center of the future, all hardware
resources for computing and storage are pooled where they can be
used on-demand. A complete Dynamic Data Center is still a vision,
but Fujitsu Siemens Computers is the only company providing first
implementations, available at customer sites today. Under the
TRIOLE™ strategy for optimized IT by Fujitsu, Fujitsu Siemens
Computers has, together with its partners, developed first products
and solutions that serve as building blocks towards a Dynamic Data

FlexFrame 3.1 for PRIMEPOWER
Fujitsu Siemens Computers announced at CeBIT that it has
extended its highly successful IT infrastructure solution
FlexFrame™ to include Solaris operating system support. As an
extension of Fujitsu Siemens Computers going-to-market with
FlexFrame, the new FlexFrame 3.1 now offers support for PRIMEPOWER
servers based on SPARC64 and Solaris, continuing to bring
cutting-edge solutions to market.
Adaptive Computing with FlexFrame and EMC
Fujitsu Siemens Computers and EMC are showcasing a new
approach for an adaptive, flexible and scalable IT infrastructure
for mySAP Business Suite at CeBIT 2005. The two companies will
demonstrate Fujitsu Siemens Computers FlexFrame solution for mySAP
Business Suite with an EMC CLARiiON-based storage area network
(SAN).
PRIMECENTER LC
To overcome today’s heat barriers in data centres,
Fujitsu Siemens Computers launches at CeBIT the PRIMECENTER LC
(liquid cooling) rack. The encapsulated system ensures the cooling
of the servers with a heat exchanger based on water circulation.
4-way PRIMERGY RX600 S2 and TX600 S2
Fujitsu Siemens Computers is launching the new 4-way PRIMERGY
Rack and Tower Servers, RX600 S2 and TX600 S2 at CeBIT 2005. Both
make use of the latest Intel Xeon Processor with EM64T. These are
the first Intel based 4-way servers to support 32 and 64 bit
applications. They are the perfect choice to consolidate multiple
smaller workloads onto fewer but more powerful servers, using the
latest virtualization techniques from VMware or Microsoft.
SX150 Business Server
The new SX150 Business Servers, will be presented to the
public at CeBIT for the first time and are based on the latest
Spark64TM-Hardware-Technologie pushing the performance of the SX
Business Server top model by 40 per cent. As these systems support
the parallel operation of BS2000/OSD operating system and Solaris,
they are frequently used for IT consolidation.
CentricStor V3.1
Fujitsu Siemens Computers will present new iSCSI based SAN
solutions which will be one of the big themes at this years CeBIT.
Further storage highlights from Fujitsu Siemens Computers will be
the availability of the LTO-3-tape drive technology for the entire
Nearline-Storage product portfolio and a new version of the Virtual
Tape Appliance CentricStor supporting cache mirroring, for
investment protection and consolidation, to deliver maximum data
protection and efficiency of management through the entire
information lifecycle.
DataFort Storage-Security-Appliance
Effective immediately, Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Decru, a
leader in storage security, are offering a fast, easy-to-use
solution to protect sensitive corporate backup data. Every user of
the CentricStor virtual tape appliance can now automatically
encrypt his magnetic tapes using Decru’s DataFort storage
security appliances. The combination of CentricStor and DataFort
storage security appliance makes it very easy to create a
comprehensive data protection and ILM system for all sensitive
nearline data.
Pragmatic Mobility for the Mobile Workforce
Any time, any place: mobile working makes business more
responsive and closer to customers. Mobile computing is a strategic
instrument for fully exploiting productivity reserves. Leveraging

that professional workstation users demand to run their
industry-grade 3D workstation applications anywhere they desire.
AMILO Pro V8010
AMILO Pro V8010, a new corporate 15.1-inch notebook belongs
to the AMILO Pro Series of professional notebooks and features the
latest Intel 915GM chipset technology.
STYLISTIC ST5022
Tablet PC STYLISTIC ST5022 is equipped with a fingerprint
sensor and features an indoor-outdoor display for convenient
working on every location. It’s light, thin and robust and
offers connectivity via WLAN, IrDA, Bluetooth.
LIFEBOOK S7020
Fujitsu Siemens Computers will showcase at CeBIT the latest
model of its successful LIFEBOOK S Series, the LIFEBOOK S7020. It
is built on the latest Intel® CentrinoTM Mobile Technology
platform, featuring the new Intel Pentium® M Processor
generation and the Intel 915GM Chipset.This new notebook builds on
the company’s reputation for light-weight, high performance
products with a range of modular options. Ultimately enabling
customers to tailor the LIFEBOOK S7020 to create the most
manageable, ergonomic, secure and mobile-user friendly notebook in
the market place.
Consumer Products
Premier solutions for the Digital and Smart Home will be
shown in conjunction with Siemens on their booth in Hall 26. A
special Highlight at this years CeBIT will be the Fun Tech Palazzo
on the outside between Hall 22 and 26, where Fujitsu Siemens
Computers and AMD will present Live music acts, Laser shows and the
Fujitsu Siemens Computers “Deutschland V PC”, a special
“Made in Germany” edition for the German market.
MYRICA LCD and Plasma TV
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland Fujitsu Siemens Computers
is selling a HD-TV Plasma- and LCD-TV. The new models with
42” or 50” display are shown for the first time at
CeBIT 2005.
ACTIVY Media Center
The ACTIVY Media Center in future allows TV-broadcast
recording with DVB-T and subsequent cutting with easy menu
guidance. The integrated ±R/RW DVD burner is supported by the
new Double-Layer Format. 8,5 GB data fits onto a DVD. This is
sufficient to record Films in a high quality, with excess length,
on the storage medium. The Time Shift Function allows live
broadcastings to be prolonged and watched later at a delayed
timeframe. Particularly feature of the ACTIVY Media Center 370 is
the integration in the Home-Network: Data can, per PC or Notebook
be exchanged by choice via cable or Wireless LAN.
AMILO with 17“ Monitor
The new 17“ High End AMILO notebook has been designed
for outstanding graphic performance and multimedia usage. It will
be first shown at CeBIT 2005 at a press breakfast on March15 at
9:30 h.
SCALEOVIEW
Fujitsu Siemens Computers presents at CeBIT two new model
ranges of monitors for the private user: The S- or Design-line
stands out through its particularly slim design, has a metal frame
and is height adjustable. The S-line as well as the standard T-line
is offered in 17” and 19”. Both model ranges have a
reaction time of only eight milliseconds and therefore adequate for
Games and Multimedia applications.
Professional Desktop product highlights
Green PC (Halle 1, 4H4)
Fujitsu Siemens Computers has reduced the content of lead of
its SCENIC C620 Green PC from 12 to 1 gram. By the end of 2005, all
professional PC will be lead-free, half a year before the EU
legislation RoHS becomes effective. Eco-conscious technology has
led to a surge in innovations not only in products, but also in
reductions in production costs including:
• First manufacturer to market a PC awarded with the
German Blue Angel, Nov 1994
• Environmentally friendly products already account for
15 percent of annual sales
• As far back as 1988, Fujitsu Siemens Computers has
been recycling legacy systems at its own plant in Paderborn,
Germany
• To date, the company has invested between 500 and 600
thousand euros in each of its modern, environmentally friendly
production lines in Augsburg, Germany, to adapt the factory to its
environmentally conscious requirement

At CeBIT 2005, Fujitsu Siemens Computers will present three
new LCD-monitor product lines developed to meet the different needs
of professional users. Two of them, the Premium and Business Lines,
are designed exclusively by Fujitsu Siemens Computers. Besides
their award winning innovative design they have the clearly
structured ease-of-use OSD menu ensuring an unique and consistent
family look & feel. Depending on the product line, the displays
are offered in the screen sizes of 15, 17, 19 and 20 inch.
