Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ STYLISTIC ST Series captures
60 percent share of EMEA slate tablet PC market
Vertical market expertise, extensive product range and close

Munich/Germany, May 12, 2005 —New slate tablet PC market figures from Canalys show that the
STYLISTIC Slate Tablet PC from Fujitsu Siemens Computers
outperformed all its EMEA region competitors combined in the first
quarter of 2005* and achieved the number one spot in this market.
This performance - sales of approximately 6,000 slate systems and a
60.6 percent market share - came as no surprise to the leading
European computer manufacturer, with over 13 years accumulative
experience** in the development, production and marketing of
pen-based systems and related solutions. Fujitsu Siemens Computers
also achieved the number one position in the Total Tablet PC market
with 26.9 percent market share, according to Canalys.
With its STYLISTIC ST Series and LIFEBOOK T Series, Fujitsu
Siemens Computers offers the industry’s most comprehensive
tablet PC portfolio. It includes slate and convertible units, a
choice of indoor and outdoor displays, 10.4-inch and 12.1-inch
displays, and a complete range of peripherals and accessories
catering to a wide variety of application scenarios. Customer case

The STYLISTIC ST502x Series is specially designed for working
while standing or walking.
It’s light, thin and robust. Its brilliant display
enables a convenient working on every location - indoor and
outdoor. Connectivity through WLAN (54 Mb/s), IrDA, Bluetooth and
optional high-capacity battery – Intel® Centrino Mobile
Technology – facilitates flexible and nonstop working for up
to 9 hours.
The STYLISTIC ST5020 model features a 12.1-inch wide viewing
angle screen for excellent indoor use and weighs a mere 1.54 kg.
The STYLISTIC ST5022 has an anti-reflective coating for indoor use
and conditional outdoor use. Moreover, it contains an integrated
fingerprint sensor offering enhanced security features. The
STYLISTIC ST5021, meanwhile, is the member of the Fujitsu Siemens
Computers tablet PC lineup best suited to outdoor use. A special
10.4-inch reflective display with frontlight allows the user to
work and play even in bright sunlight.
The LIFEBOOK T Series combine the versatility of LIFEBOOK
notebooks with the functionality of STYLISTIC Tablet PCs. Simply
rotate and fold, and the 12.1-inch screen transforms the new
LIFEBOOK T from a conventional notebook into a user-friendly
tablet. It offers the choice between the standard 12.1-inch wide
viewing angle TFT for excellent indoor use and the exceeding
version with anti-reflective coating for excellent indoor use and
conditional outdoor use.
