Fujitsu Siemens Computers affirms commitment to United
Nations’ Global Compact
World’s largest voluntary corporate citizenship
initiative supports ten guiding principles
MUNICH, December 29, 2005 —Fujitsu Siemens Computers reaffirms its commitment to the
United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest voluntary
corporate citizenship initiative to promote corporate social
responsibility. The international initiative was founded in 2000 by
the United Nations and encompasses more than 2,400 participants
worldwide in nearly 80 country networks. Together with U.N.
agencies, areas of civil society and international organizations,
these companies have banded together to promote universal social
and environmental principles. For this purpose, the Global Compact
has designed ten universal principles in the areas of human rights,
labor, the environment and anti-corruption.
As a member of the Global Compact, Fujitsu Siemens Computers
commits to follow these principles in its activities and to support
the United Nations in their implementation. The company’s
brand: Sense of Responsibility with the customer promise “We
make sure” is an ideal fit with the overall principles of

Fujitsu Siemens Computers states that businesses should:
- support and respect the protection of internationally
proclaimed human rights within their sphere of influence
