The new ESPRIMO Q5000 Mini PC from Fujitsu Siemens Computers
puts the spotlight on design
Munich, October 05, 2006 —The latest accessory for stylish desktops weighs two
kilograms, measures 5 x 16.5 x 16.5 centimeters and offers full
computing power. With its new ESPRIMO Q5000 Mini PC, Fujitsu
Siemens Computers is striking out on completely new paths in the
field of professional desktop PCs. Here, development focused on
design; the result was a desktop PC that combines cool elegance and
intelligent technology. The ESPRIMO Q5000 Mini PC offers the full
range of computer performance of a standard office PC and was
developed with a particular eye to image-conscious companies for
which elegant and stylish offices play an important role. It will
be available as of 1 October 2006 at prices starting at €849
(e.g. in Germany, incl. VAT).
Technical sophistication beneath a glossy surface
For enterprises such as law firms, travel agencies and
architects' offices, as well as for companies with high-profile
office premises such as the fashion industry, banks and insurance
companies, the workplace not only has to be efficient, it must also
look good. These enterprises set great store by place-saving IT
equipment and elegant design that reflects their corporate
identity. To cater for this need, Fujitsu Siemens Computers is
launching its new ESPRIMO Q5000 on the market, complete with
high-class design and black finish, with the individual company
logo available as an attractive optional extra.

Mobile Technology and sophisticated system design make it
outstandingly quiet and economical in terms of power. The slot-in
DVD drive has been integrated into the design. And, since both
monitor and keyboard are key parts of the overall impression,
Fujitsu Siemens Computers offers the ESPRIMO Q5000 together with
the SCALEOVIEW S20 widescreen monitor and a fitting keyboard and
mouse.
