LIFEBOOK C1410 is the first notebook officially proven to
fulfill the high “Nordic Swan” environmental
standard
Munich, October 18, 2006 —The LIFEBOOK C1410 from Fujitsu Siemens Computers is the
first notebook passing extremely high standards to protect the
environment: Being subject to comprehensive tests done by the
independent renown ”Swan” institute the LIFEBOOK C1410
has received The Swan, the official Nordic ecolabel, introduced by
the Nordic Council of Ministers. The Swan also sets criteria with
regard to quality and performance.
Furthermore, the notebook passed tests on energy and raw
materials consumption, noise emission, factory emissions into the
air, water and land, and the content of environmentally hazardous
substances in the product.
So highest environmental standards and best technology get
together: The LIFEBOOK C1410 is available with the latest
Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile Technology and a 15-inch XGA
or a 15.4-inch WXGA display. In addition to the standard
connections, the new LIFEBOOK C Series features a serial and a
parallel interface and a modular bay, which can be used for a an
optical drive or a supplementary rechargeable battery that allows
the battery lifetime to be boosted to up to 12 hours (depending on
the model and the applications involved). The LIFEBOOK C1410 will
hit the shelves as of now at prices starting at €1,899 (e.g.
in Germany, incl. VAT).
