Offering end-to-end solutions for IT infrastructures
The “New Fujitsu Siemens Computers” is focusing
on customer value through close cooperation of hardware, services
and solutions sales
Augsburg, November 14, 2006 —This year, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, the leading European IT
manufacturer and market leader in Germany, is premiering the
"New Fujitsu Siemens Computers" at its annual VISIT IT
Forum. The integration of IT Product Services (ITPS), which has
been part of Fujitsu Siemens Computers BV Holding since April1,
2006, allows the company to offer its customers the full range of
consulting, design, implementation and
maintenance services for its core businesses infrastructure
and mobility solutions. Sales,
professional services and consulting are tightly interwoven
under the umbrella of Value Sales,
ensuring that customers receive virtualization and automation
solutions for the Dynamic Data
Center from a single source.
"The integration of ITPS and our new Value Sales allows
us to present our customers with a significant value-add“,
explained Bernd Bischoff, President & CEO at Fujitsu Siemens
Computers. “We took the first important step in this
direction with our innovative solutions for the Dynamic Data Center
(DDC), such as FlexFrame, for example. Now we can offer our
customers end-to-end solutions for their IT infrastructure. We have
already received some highly positive customer feedback and have
won a number of new customers."
Customers benefit, for example, from the "Design 2
Service" approach. Feedback from the service sector is
immediately incorporated in the development of new and revised
products and solutions. The closer customer relationship enables
Fujitsu Siemens Computers to take detailed account of
customers' requirements and business processes. The close
interaction between its platform and service business has already
resulted in better Service Level Agreements, leading in turn to
lower costs for the customers.
Neil Allpress, Executive Vice President IT Product Services
at Fujitsu Siemens Computers,
commented: "Our strength lies in the qualifications and
expertise of our staff and in our strong customer relationships. We
work closely with our customers to understand their needs and can
offer them advice tailored to their individual requirements. In the
future, we will continue to build up our know-how in the
integration and management of complex infrastructures."
Similarly, Fujitsu Siemens Computers will continue to
concentrate on products and solutions for the Dynamic Data Center
and Mobility. Bernd Bischoff, President & CEO Fujitsu Siemens
Computers, added: "We feel our strategic focus on the Mobility
sectors and Dynamic Data Center puts us in a strong position. With
the new services business and our Value Sales we can further
strengthen these core business areas for our long-term future. This
allows us to offer our customers increased value, with a focus on
end-to-end platform solutions, while high-volume product services
will remain in the hands of our partners."
