Fujitsu Siemens Computers offers redundancy for free for
PRIMERGY RX300 S3 server
Munich, February 05, 2007 —Now it's becoming even easier for SMEs to enter the world
of high-available IT. Fujitsu Siemens Computers offers from today
through channel partners a very attractive bundle for its PRIMERGY
RX300 S3 rack server. With each purchased server, the customer
receives for free a second hard drive and an additional power
supply unit. This is worth up to a fifth of the server's price.
Redundancy is essential to the fail-over structure of the customers
IT infrastructure; in case of an interrupted service the components
are already there which keeps the system up and running. The offer
is valid throughout end of April 2007.

more computing power from less servers and so reducing the waste
heat and power consumption in the data centers which will lead to
direct cost savings in the IT infrastructure. The embedded
virtualization technology of the Intel Xeon processors delivers
optimized support of virtual machines such as VMware and Xen and
make the PRIMERGY servers an ideal choice for consolidation in the
data centers.
