The new AMILO Notebook Pi 3540 is the perfect companion for all those who have been looking for the classic all-rounder that satisfies all requirements. Thanks to its state-of-the-art Intel® Centrino® 2 processors and a main memory of up to 4 GB RAM, it is a real powerhouse. In comparison to the predecessor models it offers improved processing of high-definition contents, for example up to 90% faster encoding of HD videos or up to 300% improved graphics performance as well as a general performance increase of up to 50%! Due to this higher and faster processing performance, the user can confidently allow several applications to run in parallel as multitasking is child's play for the AMILO Notebook Pi 3540. The new all-rounder from Fujitsu Siemens Computers will be available in specialist shops as of August 2008.
With the NVIDIA® GeForce® 9300M GS graphics card the AMILO Notebook Pi 3540 can turn into your very own home cinema and still permit graphic-intensive applications or popular games to be played at any time. The sSATA port and 15-in-1 card reader transfers photos, music and videos quickly and easily. All your wireless wishes are met as well: the AMILO Notebook PI 3540 has state-of-the-art draft-n WLAN standard and thanks to Intel® WiFi Link 5100 AGN, it is up to five times faster and more powerful. The 15.4 " wide screen format provides perfect viewing pleasure: small display details are a thing of the past. All the AMILO notebooks use A+ panels where the picture quality is above the industry standard. In addition to the silent mode function that reduces irritating noise, a particular highlight is the spill-proof keyboard which stops up to 50 ml of fluid running into the notebook and causing damage.
Such good inner values also require the corresponding good looks. The new design from Fujitsu Siemens Computers represents simple elegance.
The computer manufacturer has developed its own design language for the entire product portfolio which is unique in Europe. The contrast between core and shell is a real eye-catcher.
