Fujitsu Siemens Computers launches powerful entry-level workstation

The IT infrastructure provider introduces the new CELSIUS W370 to its comprehensive workstation portfolio

Fujitsu Siemens Computers will exhibit its latest workstation innovation at VISIT 2008 in Augsburg, from November 12 -13, 2008. The new CELSIUS W370 is an entry-level workstation. It offers a range of features such as a faster, upgraded platform technology with the Intel® Core™2 Quad or the Intel® Core™2 Duo processor, as well as optional add-on graphics, up to NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700. The CELSIUS W370 also offers Blu-ray Disc support, 24/7 operation and, with a noise emission of only 18 dB, it is the most silent workstation of its class. Shaped in Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ new product design, it perfectly matches the company’s portfolio of business products. The CELSIUS W370 is available immediately.

Be it for e ntry-level CAD users, for 2D Digital Content Creation (DCC) or Electronic Design Automation (EDA) – the CELSIUS workstations, and particularly the CELISUS W 370, perfectly match the needs of business users who require more performance than that of a high-end PC. One of its key features is simple upgradeability. The CELSIUS W370 can easily expand its processor, graphics, memory and hard disk drives to meet the users’ personal business needs.

The body of the CELSIUS W370, with optimized cooling, is also one of the most silent Intel® Core™2 Quad-based workstations in the market. Equipped with Intel® vPro™ technology and Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ client management software DeskView, the new workstation model is also ideal for IT administrators.
