Fujitsu Siemens Computers has transformed itself from a product company into an IT infrastructure provider over the last nine years. The company presents the next logical step in this evolution, Dynamic Infrastructures, at VISIT 2008.

Today’s IT must respond to new business requirements at an ever faster pace. This situation means that businesses must focus their resources on their core tasks and on implementing innovations. This in turn requires powerful, flexible IT infrastructures. That’s where Dynamic Infrastructures from Fujitsu Siemens Computers come in – a new strategy portfolio with a full range of infrastructure products, solutions and services that are designed to fit to a variety of customer infrastructure needs:

·          Infrastructure products & services: Use building blocks designed for dynamism

·          Infrastructure solutions & services:Use pre-tested Infrastructure Solutions

·          Infrastructure as a Service: Run your applications on a shared environment

Analysts’ reactions to this strategic announcement are very positive. Martin Banks, Practice Leader, Datacentre and Mainframe at independent analyst firm Bloor Research comments: “The main issue for datacenter customers is deciding what services, applications and resources they need now, and what happens when their needs change. To meet ever-changing market dynamics, users now need great operational flexibility. With the introduction of Dynamic Infrastructure, Fujitsu Siemens Computers demonstrates that it understands the need for environments that can withstand being constantly under pressure to change, and underlines its ability to manage the changes while keeping business working reliably and effectively.”
