Fujitsu presents its new stylish mini PC at IFA 2009

ESPRIMO Q1500: a small, energy-efficient entertainer for both home and office

Fujitsu presents the ESPRIMO Q1500 – a new, powerful and exclusively designed mini PC – at IFA 2009 in Berlin. The small, fully equipped PC has a volume of only 1.4 liters and combines top-notch functionality and style. The silver-grey decoration on its black case lets the device stand out from the crowd and turns it into a trendy-looking accessory. Equipped with state-of-the-art Intel® Centrino Mobile technology and numerous multimedia functions the ESPRIMO Q1500 meets all requirements for a Desktop PC and an attractive home entertainer. Furthermore, it consumes particularly little energy and is very quiet. The ESPRIMO Q1500 is available in Germany as of 1st September 2009.

Alongside state-of-the-art Intel® Centrino Mobile technology, the ESPRIMO Q1500 is equipped with an HDMI interface and an optional Blu-ray drive serving as a smart companion for home entertainment and the digital world. Whether you are surfing the Internet, listening to music or watching HD quality videos, the

ESPRIMO Q 1500 covers a wide range of applications both at home or in the office and can easily be controlled remotely.

In addition to various optional Intel processors the device provides up to 4 GB RAM, 320 GB storage on the hard drive as well as 6 USB ports. Thus, the ESPRIMO

Q1500 offers a large selection of components fulfilling each requirement. With its squared shape, the size of a CD cover and a height of 5 centimeters it hardly takes up any space in the living-room or in the office. However, the device has the same performance as a fully equipped PC.

Green and quiet

The ESPRIMO Q1500 belongs to the most energy-saving PCs in the ESPRIMO series. Thanks to the energy-efficient Intel® Centrino technology it consumes about 19 Watt in idle mode on extended energy options.

In addition to its energy efficiency the ESPRIMO Q1500 processes remarkably quietly. A very well thought out hardware design with optimized cooling technology reduces noise levels to a minimum: the ESPRIMO generates about 17 dB(A) in idle mode and 24 dB(A) when processing – basically just whisper. For users the workflow becomes considerably smoother and listening to music and DVDs more enjoyable without disturbing background noise.
