Power consumption according to the data sheets of the systems. The systems in comparison are a standard server and the PRIMERGY TX120 server models (system selectable)

Assumption for server usage:

250 active usage days/year with n -hours usage/day (selectable). Server efficiency of 100-75-50-25% (selectable) and 24-minus- n hours standby-mode/day with minimum power consumption of the standard configuration.

115 standby-days/year (weekends + bank holidays) with 24 h/day standby-mode at minimum power consumption of the standard configuration

Energy value of brown coal = 10MJ/kg / 3,6MJ = 1 KWh
